How to Change Display Scaling (To Make Items Larger)

Overview

Display scaling allows you to make text, icons, and applications appear larger or smaller on your screen. This can improve readability on high-resolution displays or provide more workspace on your desktop.

Change Display Scaling

1. Right-click an empty area of your desktop.
2. Select Display settings.
3. Under Scale & layout, locate the Scale setting.
4. Select the desired scaling percentage from the drop-down menu.

Common options include:

• 100% (Default size)
• 125% (Slightly larger)
• 150% (Larger text and icons)

Your changes may take effect immediately. Some applications may require you to sign out and back in before the change is fully applied.
